Uwin Iwin was born from a burning passion to make a difference to people’s lives in the workplace, and to unleash the potential that businesses in South Africa have to offer in order to compete with the best in the world. In 1994, the CEO of the company, David Sand, left the corporate world for an entrepreneurial journey of a life time, and with a severance package under his arm, Uwin Iwin was formed. The company started out as a specialist provider of travel incentive solutions, and grew by natural progression into the reward and recognition space as well as the incentives space, with a significant amount of convergence between the two. From there the events and conferencing division was formed with a full marketing and communications support function. Uwin Iwin proudly offers companies an end-to-end incentive solution: from measurements strategy, reward mechanisms, communication campaigns and launch events to travel incentives and a rewards catalogue. Our team of experts delivers results, on time and on budget.

Uwin Iwin India was the very first of the international ventures and a bold move to open operations in Bangalore late 2011. Uwin Iwin CEO, David Sand, established the business and operations in line Uwin Iwin’s capacity and expertise as a developing economy specialist. Donna D’Costa heads up the operations in India. She is a dynamic young Indian woman whose operations skills and passions are driving service delivery and operational excellence to new heights. We currently service local Indian clients and act as a fulfilment partner for two major European and UK based incentive agencies.

As of 27 June 2017, Uwin Iwin Incentives UK LTD will be open for trade in the United Kingdom Market. This is a further expansion to an already impressive network of global offices.

Uwin Iwin Incentives LTD is an international company providing inspirational recognition and reward, incentive, loyalty and performance improvement solutions to businesses. The company has offices in Mauritius, South Africa, India, Brazil, Kenia, Nigeria, Ghana, USA and now also London.

The company CEO, David Sand, says the opening of the the new office is incredibly exciting to him, because the UK is one of the biggest and most exciting incentive loyalty and incentive markets in the world. “We are humbled and excited about this new chapter in our business. We have been dealing with Northern hemisphere based businesess and it just makes sense to be more accessibile to our clients.”

David emphasises Uwin Iwin’s reward model of branded cash which will differentiate the company from the reward scheme competitors in the UK. “Most reward programmes make use of catalogues from which rewards can be chosen. Our data has shown that employees prefer the flexibility of deciding for themselves how to to spend their rewards.”

Uwin Iwin East Africa has been in operations since 2012. Elizabeth Karanja leads the region’s operations from Nairobi, Kenya. The commercial and economic hub for East Africa, Kenya is a strategic country for Uwin Iwin. From our office in Nairobi we also service clients in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Uwin Iwin Nigeria was established in December 2013. Adeshola Ekpo, a strong and proud Nigerian woman, heads up the operations in Lagos. Her passion for her country, and her belief that the city of Lagos is the centre for excellence in Africa, has been vital for the growth of the business. As the biggest population and economy in Africa, we have no doubt that our Nigerian business is set to become one of the most rapid growing offices as it will be the hub for activities in West Africa. Uwin Iwin is currently extending the West African footprint with an office opening in Accra, Ghana shortly.

Uwin Iwin Mauritius is the Group Holding Company and has a second local traded entity that services the needs of local corporate activity. The local commercial business was established in October 2013 as a joint venture between Uwin Iwin and Richard Robinson. Mauritius’s relatively minor commercial economy offers a robust and stable environment with business interests that stretch across borders.

Following hot on the heels of the Nigerian operation, we had numerous requests to service our clientele in Ghana. The highly capable Annabel Kalai heads up the operation in Accra, and Uwin Iwin is confident that she will further develop the company’s reputation regarding excellent service, effective solutions and customer satisfaction.

After graduating with a BSc in Political Science, Kalai took an Administrative and Personal Assistant job with ROAK Consult Ghana Ltd in Accra. From here she veered into the hospitality industry and joined the team at the 5 Star La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

From the hotel industry, Kalai joined RDFC Africa as their Client Relations Manager. In June 2014, she joined the amazing Uwin Iwin global team, brought on board to manage its Ghana operations as Senior Account Manager. Annabel’s versatility and highly professional skills have contributed immensely to the company’s success story West Africa.
